Hi all,
thank you for taking a minute to check out my blog and see
what I've been up to! The blog was created for my loving mother, who has been
unbelievably supportive in my decision to tackle Alaska this summer. The one
condition she made me agree to before allowing her little boy to pursue his
love of fly fishing was that I create this blog, and update it as frequently as
possible. I will do my best to make it easy for you all to live my adventures vicariously
through my blog!
For those of you who do not know, I will be leaving for the Kenai
Peninsula on May 14 to pursue my passion (obsession?) of fly fishing. I
was lucky enough to land a job with Great Alaska Adventure Lodge,
an incredible outfit and team that I cannot wait to become a part of. I will be
working/playing this summer as an entry level fly fishing guide on the Kenai
River, home to some of the biggest, baddest salmon in the world.
Assuming that I do not get eaten by a grizzly (a scenario my
house-mates love playing through) I will return to the beautiful Green Mountain
State and those that I love in mid-September, just in time for deer season!
Thanks again for checking out the site and be sure to stay
tuned in!
Tight loops and even tighter lines,
Asa
Good luck up there brother. It's too bad we won't know which fish you catch have been foul hooked or not. Stay safe and have fun, we'll land a few stripers for you down the cape next month.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
